Venice, Italy, one of the most beautiful cities in the world!
In 2012 and 2014 I had the opportunity to visit Venice for 2 weeks with my classmates and study Armenian history and literature at the Università Ca’ Foscari. (I’m in the green lantern shirt) I had a wonderful time with great friends exploring the city, getting lost many times, eating delicious food, and just having a great time.
The photograph above is of “Piazza San Marco” was taken on my 2nd trip to Venice. Piazza San Marco, is the principal public square of Venice, Italy, where it is generally known just as “the Piazza”. The Piazza is surrounded by many cafés, restaurants and small shops where you can buy a variety of souvenirs. Everywhere you look you’ll see this breathtaking architecture. Venice seems like it has literally been frozen in time, but that is the beauty of it. The photograph above is taken from a vaporetto, which is a water bus that takes you from one island to the next or just makes those longs walks a tad shorter.
This isn’t goodbye Venice hopefully i’ll see you soon, until next time stay above water.
